Andi Page Durbin was born in West Virginia, moving to Denver, Colorado when she was three.
After receiving a degree in Business Management, she worked in the legal and computer fields before marrying her late husband, Mack Durbin.
Together they started a real estate brokerage specializing in residential and some commercial real estate. They retired from that company at the end of 2020.
Andi began her interest in genealogy during middle school when, as part of a class assignment, she obtained her mother’s family history from her grandmother, continuing a tradition that went back generations.
She began writing short stories about her genealogical findings for her family members. Once retired she was able to concentrate her research into family history and then expand the short stories into historical fiction books.
